SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY
Saturday, November 30th, 2024
The St. Francis Area Chamber of Commerce would like to help promote local businesses this holiday season. We will be sponsoring a Shop Local Passport Event on Small Business Saturday, November 30th. This is a one-day event only! There will be an opportunity for two lucky shoppers to win a total of $200 (2 $100 winners) for participating in this event.
Here is how it works:
· Passports will be available for shoppers to claim Saturday, 11/30, 9:00 AM at the American Legion. Each time a passport holder stops at a participating business, they receive a stamp in their passport book. If the passport holder makes a purchase of $25 or more they will receive an additional stamp from the business. A bonus entry will be given if a selfie photo is taken of their purchase and posted on Facebook tagging the business. At the end of the day, shoppers return their passports at the legion and their names will be entered into the drawing for the prize money. The more stamps in their passport will give them more chances to win.
· All passports must be dropped back off at the American Legion by 3:00 the same day in order to qualify for the drawings. Drawings will be posted on the Chamber’s Facebook page and website at noon on Sunday, 11/30.
· This is a great opportunity for business owners to advertise a sale, issue promotional items, lunch specials or discounts.
· If you do not have a physical location for shoppers to stop in, or if you would rather set up a table for this event to promote your business, the American Legion has been reserved for business owners to set up a table/display to promote themselves and offer any specials if desired. The cost for an 8’ table space rental will be $25 for non-members and free to current members.
· If you would like to participate in this event, please let the Chamber know by November 7th, this will allow us time to get our advertising ready for everyone and get them excited to get out there and Shop Local!
We appreciate and support your business and hope this is an eventful day for everyone!
